Yes, we love dogs here at Grimsby Garden Centre! Don’t forget to pop by the pup pick ‘n’ mix when you visit.

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area of the Potting Shed but unfortunately, we’re not able to allow dogs inside of the Potting Shed as we have an open kitchen and carvery area.

There are dog hydration stations dotted about the garden centre and Potting Shed garden, if they need topping up, please ask a member of the team and they’ll be happy to help.

So, you’ve heard about the famous Potting Shed (previously Café Blue) carvery and you want to see what all the fuss is about?! It’s proper roast beef, sugar-baked ham and Lincolnshire turkey or a vegetarian option served with stuffing, roast and new potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables and homemade gravy served every Wednesday and Sunday from 12pm – 2:30pm.

If you like the sounds of that – try our chip shop days on a Tuesday, Friday and Saturday serving all your favourite chip shop classics including spam fritters, battered sausages and chips, Grimsby haddock, and salmon, spring onion and mozzarella fish cakes.

Grimsby Garden Centre was purchased by NAViGO, North East Lincolnshire’s leading mental health service provider in 2015. The aim was to provide training and employment opportunities as well as therapeutic horticulture activities for local people with mental health problems. At the moment, we support an average of 19 service users with horticulture therapy per week.

As a not-for-profit, income that is generated by sales at the garden centre is reinvested back into NAViGO for the benefit of the local mental health services or to further develop and improve the garden centre for the benefit of the community.

When you shop with us, you help us to give back to the local community.

People using wheelchairs should be able to move freely throughout the majority of the garden centre and the Potting Shed – there is a however, a raised seating area in the Potting Shed that is not wheelchair friendly.

When planning our displays we test that wheelchairs are able to easily navigate around the display stands – if you find that this is not the case, or if you have any feedback with regards to accessibility, please let us know

We also have wheelchairs available at the entrance of the garden centre for customer use should you need it.

You can shop Rathwood furniture online here – the orders are processed and fulfilled by Rathwood.

When you purchase any Rathwood products from us at Grimsby Garden Centre – either in store at the garden centre or online – the commission we receive as a Rathwood partner is reinvested by us for the benefit of our local community.

You can also browse and calculate prices of garden log cabins on our website here.

Grimsby Garden Centre and Potting Shed vouchers can be purchased in the garden centre.

National Garden Gift Vouchers can be purchased from Grimsby Garden Centre and redeemed in many garden centres across the UK.

We accept National Garden Gift Vouchers, including e-vouchers, Grimsby Garden Centre and Potting Shed vouchers.

If you’re travelling by car, free parking is available on site. If you’re following a Sat Nav, search: DN37 7DY, Grimsby Road, Laceby.

Hop off the bus on Laceby Road just before/after (depending on which way you’re coming from) the Cottagers Plot Roundabout and keep left for a short walk down Maltby Ave passed the horse field – you’ll be with us in no time.
